• Salary: £23-£26k pa (pro rata) dependent on experience

About the role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our friendly team. You will have at least 1 year of professional work experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work. You will be working alongside our Creative Director to conceptualise, create and deliver assets for a broad base of clients across varied and vibrant sectors. You will use design to strategically elevate brands, digital and print presence across the board.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design a variety of creative assets including website and app designs, social media graphics and print collateral
• Stay up to date on the latest design trends and software
• Collaborate with our in-house designers and developers to produce solutions-driven, high-quality design outputs for clients
• Manage tight deadlines and demonstrate good communication skills with the team and clients
• To commit to the training and development of your core skills

Experience

Essential:

• Min. 1 years work experience in graphic design
• Strong portfolio of work
• You are comfortable with basics of desktop publishing
• Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (evidenced at interview)
• You are comfortable with the basics of UX and UI design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A passion for design, creativity and excellence

Desired:

• Previous experience of working in a design studio
• A recognised qualification in graphic design
• An understanding of After Effects & Premiere Pro
• Experience in managing client communications
• Experience in animation
• Knowledge of Sketch / Figma / XD software
• Knowledge of WordPress web frameworks
